A Story. A Movement. A Choice.

What if the music you bought could change someone's life?

1,000 Blind Music Critics Gave This Debut Album a 7/10.

We didn't tell them there was a mission behind it. We just let the music speak for itself. It scored an amazing 7/10 for an independent debut. Now, it's your turn to be the judge.

Me and my backing band, The Impact Band, getting ready for an impact experience in Indianapolis, IN.

I sold CDs of my original music out of the trunk of my car. I organized benefit concerts, launched clothing drives, and rallied my local community. In just three months—with no formal organization, no major donors, and no infrastructure—my team and I raised over $24,000. We hopped on a plane to my homeland. Seeing kids walk nearly five miles to the next town just to go to school, I partnered with the exact same missionary who had rescued me to start a school in our Haitian village. Today, that school supports over 60 kids and is still going strong.

The Troufondban Legacy: From being rescued by missionary Bettie Snyder to co-founding a school in my hometown (left), I used my music and merch (middle) to fund education, meals, and teacher salaries. On the right, Bettie and I celebrating the community where it all began.

That’s me performing at my high school talent show. Coming to America as a Haitian immigrant, I actually used music to master English and navigate a whole new culture. Despite having zero musical background, I found the courage to step up to the mic and pursue a career as a Hip-hop and Pop-rap artist. My mission from day one has been to connect with people, spark real change, and bridge the gap between great music and humanitarian impact.

"There was a season where life was screaming at me to quit. A lonely basement. Empty pockets. And a dream that felt too heavy to carry."

-Watson Tunez

During my freshman year at Anderson University, I founded Beyond Me. The vision was simple but heavy: unite artists to bridge the gap between music and humanitarianism. I wanted to use my art as a powerful tool to promote positive social change and actually alleviate human suffering, not just sing about it.

When I set out to fund the Live Beyond You movement, I had no major corporate donors. Just a lonely basement and a dream. But I knew the mission deserved world-class art. I locked myself in that basement for months on end. It took me four years to put these songs together. No AI. No shortcuts. Every lyric came straight from my heart to yours, built with blood, sweat, and tears. Long Way To Go isn't just a polished product; it is resilience pressed into sound."

Metaphorically, every great movement begins in a "basement"—that cold, dark, and often lonely starting point where your resources are limited and your experience is thin. It is the "bottom," a place filled with dirt, discouragement, and the deafening noise of doubt telling you to give up. But the basement is also the forge. It is where you find the discipline to pick yourself up and keep moving despite every obstacle, pushing through the shadows until your vision finally reaches the "stage"—the place of success, visibility, and the realization of your highest goals.

"We are using to music to orchestrate a humanitarian movement — one where every purchase becomes an act of stewardship, and every fan becomes a force for change."

-Watson Tunez

From that basement, I developed what we now call the Social Impact Music Model—the framework behind the Live Beyond You Service Challenge. I decided my music had to carry a purpose beyond the melody. I write songs built to lift the weary, steady the anxious, and speak life into those standing at the edge of giving up. But I didn't stop at the lyrics. When you support this music, a portion of every dollar flows directly into a humanitarian fund held under my non-profit, Beyond Me Initiative. Those funds don't just sit there—they move into communities. The music heals the individual. The movement heals the community."

My relentless refusal to separate my art from my humanitarian heart became the spark that ignited this movement. Today, hundreds of students and supporters globally are inspired by the music to become 'hometown heroes' through the Live Beyond You Service Challenge. Initiators are taking action, using their own unique talents to fuel the mission and alleviate suffering right in their own backyards.

Why You Won't Find This on Apple or Spotify:

The grant pool is funded directly through music sales and the Live Beyond You Community. When you buy the music, you fund the mission. You are more than a listener — you are a stakeholder in human dignity.

In the traditional music industry, you just get a digital album and that’s it. But I pulled my music from mainstream streaming platforms for a reason. I release my music exclusively on the Live Beyond You platform so that every time you listen, your investment directly funds local charities instead of feeding a corporate algorithm. When you buy the music, you fund the mission.

1,000 Music Critics Gave This Album a 7/10—Do You Have the Ear to Prove Them Wrong?

Before we ever took the stage, we put our heart and soul on the line. We partnered with TuneCore Fan Reviews to put Watson’s debut album, Long Way to Go, through the ultimate "blind" audition. We handed 10 individual tracks to 1,000 anonymous music critics—total strangers—and asked for their unfiltered, brutal honesty. The Result? A 7/10 score. To most, a 7/10 is a "solid" start. But for a movement born in a basement and forged through an earthquake, we know that "solid" is just the foundation for greatness. Now, we are inviting you—the real listener, the Initiator—to be the final judge.

Will you agree with the critics, or will you hear the 10/10 vision behind the music? There’s only one way to find out.

What exactly is the "Long Way To Go" Deluxe Collection?

The Deluxe Collection is more than just an album; it is the official playbook for the Beyond Me movement. While the standard music is the heartbeat, this collection includes the digital lyric booklet, the documentary of our 2023–2026 tour, and the step-by-step "Initiator’s Guide" to help you start making a local impact immediately.

Who is Watson Tunez?

Watson Tunez (born Watson George) is a Haitian-born, Indianapolis-based recording artist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. His journey is defined by a relentless refusal to let his dreams die, moving from a "dirty basement" to the professional stage.

A Story of Resilience: Rescued by a missionary at age six and adopted by American parents, Watson returned to Haiti at age 18 following the devastating 2010 earthquake. Standing in the rubble, he discovered a calling to use music not just for entertainment, but as a bridge to heal and help others.

The Architect of Social Impact Music: During his time at Anderson University, he founded the Beyond Me humanitarian movement, inspired by the school’s theme. He pioneered the "Social Impact Music" model—a system where music sales fuel a humanitarian grant pool for local charities.

A Local Leader: Between 2023 and 2026, Watson transitioned from a classroom teacher to a full-time artist and humanitarian. He self-funded the Long Way To Go tour across Indianapolis, performing everywhere from senior living centers to corporate events to prove that anyone can be a "hometown hero".

The Visionary: Today, Watson leads the Beyond Me Initiative and Beyond Me Entertainment, empowering a global community of "Initiators" to alleviate human suffering through service, compassion, and harmony.

As Watson says, "The world doesn't need more noise. It needs harmony and hope—the kind that brings people together, lifts them up, and reminds them they're not alone".

Can’t I just stream the album for free on YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud or Apple Music?

Yes, you can. However, streaming alone doesn't give you the full experience. By purchasing the bundle, you get the exclusive bonuses that dive deeper into the meaning of the music and the real-world impact it has already had on people like Madisyn.

Most importantly, streaming doesn't directly fuel the mission. When you buy the collection, a portion of your support goes directly into a humanitarian grant pool. This pool funds the Live Beyond You Service Challenge, allowing you to help a local cause of your choice win funding of up to $5,000.

What is the "Live Beyond You Service Challenge"?

It is a three-step model designed to turn music fans into active humanitarians:

Identify: Pick a local charity you are passionate about.

Serve: Volunteer your time or skills to help that organization.

Document: Record a 2-minute video of your impact and upload it to our website (LiveBeyondYou.org) to nominate that charity for a grant.

Where did the name "Beyond Me" come from?

The name was inspired by a college theme during Watson’s freshman year at Anderson University. It represents the shift from living for yourself to "harmonizing hope" for others.

I’m not a musician. Can I still be an "Initiator"?

Absolutely. Being an Initiator isn't about having a musical background; it's about having a spirit of service. Whether you use catering skills like Madisyn or simply volunteer your time, anyone can pick up the "microphone" of service and lead their community.
